Ty is one of the newest additions to the Worxbee community. Ty has over 17 years of experience providing administrative support to senior level executives and teams. She is a #teamprofessor VEA type. For the past few months, she has had the opportunity to work with start-ups and has gotten rave reviews from her clients! When she is not working, you can find her playing with her 6 year old son Tyler or spending time with her family.

How did you hear about Worxbee and how did you get here? I learned about Kenzie two years ago through my last role at the Metro Atlanta Chamber. I found out she owned a company that provided virtual assistant services; I was intrigued and wanted to join then I could not due to financial obligations. I moved to Wake Forest, NC in the summer of 2017 with my whole family (Mother, Father, Grandfather, Husband and Son). This move has given me the flexibility to work virtually and still be there for my son. I love it!

What aspect of you role do you love the most? Of course I love the flexibility, but I like the opportunity to work with various industries at the same time.

What project have you worked on that you are most proud of?I’m currently working on sending a MailChimp newsletter via the Nimble CRM system. This will be the first time I’ve sent a mailing via a new system so I’m enjoying the challenge of learning something new.

I also have another client which I provide extensive tradeshow logistic support. I enjoy that client as well because it is allowing me to learn a lot about the behind the scene details when it comes to tradeshow events and activations.

Who is one person you admire and why?My mom of course, because she loves her family immensely. She’s super giving and super loving.

Secondly, President Barack Obama. I admire him for many reasons but simply because he changed history.

What do you like to do outside of work?Spending time with my family, finding something fun to do with my 6 year old. Also, having girl time with friends.

If you could switch jobs with someone, who would it be? Oprah – She is phenomenal at what she does. She’s met and interviewed so many great people in history and has changed lives.
