Dominique King is one of our newest Worxbee Executive Assistants! She works with entrepreneurs and C-level Executives to help relieve all administrative anxiety that comes with running a thriving and growing business. When she is not supporting her clients, she loves thrift shopping, finding hole in the wall restaurants with her husband, and loving on her baby boy in her home city of Plano, Texas. Read on to get to know Dom!  

When did you join Worxbee?

July 2020.

What is your best piece of advice for someone starting out in this industry? 

Try not to learn all the things, instead focus on 2 or 3 things you’re really good at or get good at 2 or 3 things. Also, don’t be too hard on yourself and give yourself grace. The first year is the busiest and hardest and you will make mistakes, but that is part of the process

What is a fun fact about you? 

I got married in Vegas!

What are you most proud of? 

Not giving up on my business.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one quality or ability, what would it be and why?

To be an amazing salesperson! This is part of the online world and I’m still an amateur.

Who do you most admire and why? 

This is a tough one because I’m blessed with amazing people with amazing testimonies but I would have to say my dad. He has always taught me to be better and do better and learn from the mistakes he made growing up and as an adult. When he steps into a room, you can feel his presence and his smile.

What's your favorite book? 

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert P. Pirsig.
