What We Look for in an Executive Assistant

Proven Experience

Minimum of 5+ years supporting senior leaders or C-suite executives as an Executive Assistant. Experience in fast-paced environments where discretion and prioritization matter.

We accept applicants with at least 5 years of experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders in an Executive Assistant role. This opportunity is designed for experienced Executive Assistants who want remote, flexible, fractional work, not full-time W-2 positions.

  • No. Worxbee partners exclusively with independent contractors. This is best for experienced Executive Assistants who want to build their own business, work independently, and form long-term client relationships while maintaining control over their schedules.

  • Worxbee supports a flexible work structure, there are no fixed hours. Your schedule depends on the needs of the client you support, typically aligned with U.S. business hours. The goal is to create partnerships that respect both your availability and the client’s expectations.

  • Worxbee supports a range of client engagements. Most client agreements begin at 40 hours per month, with many averaging 50–60 hours. We recommend Executive Assistants have at least 40 hours of availability to increase match potential and flexibility.

    There’s no set maximum, but we prioritize balance—ensuring you can meet client needs without overextending yourself. Our goal is to create a flexible structure that works for both you and the clients you support.

  • Yes , you can support multiple clients, based on your availability and ability to maintain the high level of support Worxbee expects. We’ll collaborate to ensure new assignments align with your workload and strengths.

  • Match timing varies based on client demand, availability, and fit. Some Executive Assistants are matched quickly, while others may wait until the right opportunity aligns with their experience. We don’t guarantee a match—our priority is thoughtful alignment between executives and Executive Assistants.

  • If a pairing isn’t working out, we encourage open communication. Worxbee will step in to understand the situation and help resolve issues because great support starts with the right fit.

  • From day one, you’ll be thoughtfully matched with clients based on your strengths and working style. Worxbee handles business logistics (lead generation, contracts, billing), so you can focus on high-level support, not administrative overhead. You’ll also have access to resources and guidance to help you thrive in each partnership.
