Virtual Executive Assistant Spotlight- Tammy

Tammy McKelvie is an efficiency specialist who has spent the last 30 years partnering with C-Level Executives, helping them to manage their personal and professional lives. She is one of the newer members of the Worxbee team and she is a #TeamMasterminds Virtual Executive Assistant type. When Tammy is not assisting clients, she is an active member of several animal rescue organizations. She loves to cook and spend time with her family in her home city of Salt Lake City, Utah.

What drives you to succeed in the Executive Assistant industry? I am driven by assisting my clients by introducing efficiencies that help them to be more productive.

What do you do in your free time? I love spending time with my three little dogs, working in my garden, spending time with my grandchildren, and crocheting.

Who do you admire and why? My mother, she was a Legal Secretary/Paralegal her entire career.  She worked at an incredibly high level, and did so without any specific training, or a college degree.  She also mentored many young women during her career.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? We have a condo on the beach in Seaside, Oregon.  Whenever I think about spending time away from home, I always choose or piece of paradise on the beach.

When did you begin working with Worxbee? I began working with Worxbee in November of 2017.

What is one tip you have learned when you transitioned to a virtual role? I have learned to be overly responsive to my clients.  Over delivery goes a long way to build trust and confidence.

What is your favorite book? My favorite book tends to be the last book I read, which is “The Husband’s Secret”, by Liane Moriarty.
